Nikos Angelopoulos has been appointed Group Chief Information Officer of Nedbank Group from 1 September 2026. He is an internationally experienced technology executive with more than 30 years of experience across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, specialising in technology strategy, digital transformation, cloud computing, data and artificial intelligence.
Before joining Nedbank, Nikos served as Group Chief Information Officer at MTN Group, where he was responsible for information technology strategy, investments, delivery and governance across 16 markets serving more than 300 million customers.
Prior to MTN Group, he held senior leadership positions at du (UAE telecom operator), Vodafone and Accenture, leading large-scale technology and digital transformation programmes.
