Be part of our CA Seminar Experience
Every December, Nedbank hosts a career-defining 3-day CA Seminar Experience that exposes attendees to the exciting world of banking if they decide to do their articles in a banking environment (TOPP).
We invite you to join us on this exciting programme and harness your potential to be an impactful leader in the financial services industry.
As a final year Bcom Accounting (or relevant SAICA accredited degree) student, you stand to gain the following from our seminar:
About the CA Training Programme
Should you join our CA Training Programme, you will have the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of the banking environment by rotating across the bank's various clusters. This will help you gain valuable career-defining experience and exposure.
The programme enables your success by giving you support and access to coaching and mentorship.
At Nedbank, we place great value on the principles of leadership and transformation, which are firmly ingrained in our culture. Through the programme, our trainees are exposed to leadership opportunities participate in activities that drive the strategic direction of the programme.

Applications for the CA Training Programme
At Nedbank we use our financial expertise to do good for individuals, families, businesses, and society. When you join the Nedbank CA Training Programme, you will not only be joining our immensely successful programme that boasts a 100% ITC pass rate for the past 5 years, but you will also experience what it means to be a #YoungDifferenceMaker.
Applications for our 2025 intake are closed. Applications for 2026 will open in February 2025.
To be eligible for our 2026 intake, applicants must be enrolled at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) for an accredited postgraduate diploma in accounting, or an equivalent programme, in the 2025 academic year.
#BeTheDifference: Corporate social responsibility
To date, the Nedbank CA Training Programme (along with the Quants Graduate Programme) has raised just over R900 000 for various community initiatives, the latest being Matla Combined School, a school for pupils from Grade R to Grade 12 (currently with about 1 200 pupils). The Nedbank CA trainees planted and established a sustainable vegetable garden to complement the school’s feeding programme.
Corporate social responsibility is a great opportunity for those involved in the Programme to leverage their resources and #BeTheDifference in the lives of those in our communities and country.
